Spartan Boys High School Team Scores Another Win!
The Bainbridge High School Boys Water Polo team earned a strong 11–6 victory on the road against Bellevue, showcasing both steady defense and balanced scoring from their upperclassmen leaders.
The standout performance of the night came from freshman goalie Oren Screen, who played far beyond the cage. Acting as both goalkeeper and a seventh defender in the field, Screen’s confidence to step out and take control of the ball grew with each possession, setting the tone for the Spartans’ defensive strength.
On the offensive end, the upperclassmen paced the scoring, capitalizing on opportunities and keeping the Bellevue defense on their heels. The win reflects the team’s ability to combine veteran leadership with emerging young talent—a balance that will be critical as the season continues.
Bainbridge will look to carry this momentum into their next matchup on Tuesday, where they take on Mercer Island on the road.
