Four Spartans Nab All League Honors

As the 2025 regular season wraps, it’s time to honor four outstanding Spartans who stood out not just for what they did in the pool, but for how they embodied Spartan values: grit, teamwork, leadership, and perseverance.

Senior Ryan Rich was named First Team All-League, recognized for his leadership, intensity, and game-changing play on both ends of the pool. Ryan anchored the team with poise and power, setting the tone in every major matchup.

Juniors Lucas Cuellar-Carpenter and senior Jonas Fritzsche earned Second Team All-League honors. Lucas emerged as a dynamic offensive threat and creative playmaker, while Jonas brought grit, consistency, and veteran leadership that steadied the Spartans through close games.

Freshman goalie Oren Screen received Honorable Mention, a rare achievement for a first-year player. Oren’s sharp reflexes, composure under pressure, and strong communication made him a rising star in the cage and a cornerstone for the program’s future.

These honors reflect not just individual excellence, but the heart and teamwork that define Spartan water polo. Congratulations to Ryan, Lucas, Jonas, and Oren on representing Bainbridge at the highest level.
