Boys High School Season Wrap Up
This season wasn’t easy. It wasn’t smooth. And it definitely wasn’t painless. This team dealt with injuries. Surgeries. Setbacks. Moments that could’ve broken a lesser team.
But not these boys.
Not this group.
Not this family.
Every time the season pushed them down, they rose higher.
Every time the odds tilted against them, they refused to bend.
And with heart, grit, and pure Bainbridge toughness, they powered their way to a 4th place finish at the Washington State Championships as the ONLY 2A school represented at the tournament.
That placement doesn’t tell the whole story. It doesn’t tell you about the courage it took to play through adversity, the trust built between teammates, the leadership shown in the hardest moments, and the belief that carried them, game after game, against every obstacle.
And the recognition? We couldn’t be prouder.
Ryan Rich – 1st Team All State
Jonas Fritzsche – 2nd Team All State
George Wolffe – Honorable Mention All State
These honors shine brightly, not just because of talent, but because of the perseverance behind them.
To this team of young men who refused to quit, the seniors who led with heart, the families who cheered through every twist, and the coaches who believed even on the tough days…thank you.
This season was a testament to resilience and the unshakable spirit of Bainbridge water polo.
And here’s the best part?
We’re not done.
We’re not finished.
We’re just getting started.
Watch out for next season, these boys know how to rise. And they’re ready to rise again.
